Employee of The Month

Employee of the Month...the Month also being the name of the store the player works for. And the manager of the store simply called "Manger". How ingenious! Jokes aside, this is an impressive horror game with a lot of DIY feel. It could simply be the PS-era graphics and lo-fi sound design, but you can see a lot of love has been put into it. It sort of has its own heart and soul. There's a lot of easter eggs to find and if you're down for achievement hunting, this is definitely your cup of tea. It actually reminds me a bit of Five Nights at Freddy's. Not really for the latter part, but as of the overall concept and execution. Both a creepy and a hilarious experience, touching the very ends of the spectrum. I don't think I've ever played anything quite like it. Certainly not from a dev this small. The only question left to ask is: Are you sure you want to buy it? – Hell yeah!

This game was wow… just an experience. Its humor is so well done and it’s a super enjoyable time! I liked solving all of the creative puzzles and figuring out the game play loops and overall I yearn for more games like this!

I feel like this game couldn't decide whether it wanted to be a horror game or a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and thus wasn't as good as it could have been at either. It was genuinely funny most of the time, but that just made the horror parts where you have to try more frustrating. Gameplay was a little tedious, though I will acknowledge the devs did mix it up a good amount based on the premise. It's very close to a recommend from me but I just don't think the positives outweigh the negatives.
