Escape Room: Too much Lore Escape Memoirs: Mansion Heist is a puzzle based Escape Room game. If you've experienced the genre before, you know what to expect here. You are put into a locked room with almost zero information and you must find clues to solve puzzles to "escape". In this game, you play as a burglar hired to steal and item, but outside of some starting and ending context (which is wholly unneeded and doesn't really add anything to the game) the game plays out in this format. There are different things that separate a good escape room from a great one, or a good one from a bad one. These mostly have to do with intuitive puzzle design, puzzles that are relatively simple to solve once you know what is needed, but near impossible to guess, and how much you need to search around for clues. In a good puzzle game, you shouldn't be able to brute force your way through, and you shouldn't require moon logic (in other words, leaps in logic that don't make sense unless you already know the solution), and they shouldn't require meticulous searching to find clues that provide the needed knowledge to solve puzzles. Puzzles were great and really made you have to think about everything at all angles. We found that sometimes we would have to swap puzzles with each other when we hit road blocks and with new eyes everything made sense. If you have good communication with someone, definitely give this a try!
This game is so badly optimized it's unbelievable. Returned and refunded.
Worth it´s money, Difficulty: 8/10 Playtime: 7 Hours Design: 8/10 Mechanics: 7/10 I recommend this game, because it has no found bugs, decent amout of content for an Escape Game.
NICE game, really enjoy playing it. very puzzle solving but fun nice graphics. several rooms with puzzles in each.
