This title blends elements of twin-stick shooters with mechanics familiar to “survivors” games, but it takes its own spin on the formula. There’s no overarching story or dramatic reason to keep pushing forward. Your main purpose is simple: head out on a run, last as long as you can, and eventually bring down a boss. At the start, you choose one of three available stages and a difficulty setting, which adjusts how much damage enemies deal, how fast they move, and a few other balancing factors. The most notable distinction between this game and others in the genre lies in its character system. Instead of offering a roster of heroes to pick from, there’s just a single character available. That character, however, comes equipped with three starting weapons right away: a sword, a bow, and a staff. Each weapon feels different, offering its own balance of firing speed, range, and damage output. There’s no auto-targeting, so precision is left entirely in your hands, though you can toggle auto-fire to reduce some of the pressure. New weapons aren’t earned passively during a run but must be discovered somewhere on the stage itself. When you find one, you can swap it for one of your three …

Positives: - Attractive female characters. Negatives: - Enemies are extremely unsatisfying to kill; they just disappear. A few red pixels spraying out of them when they die would make the world of difference. - The Character sprites look like RPGmaker sprites. They're not much to look at. - Keys not re-bindable. - Trying to use Steam Input conflicts with the games built in controller support & breaks everything.

Short and slightly janky.

This game is a perfect mix of chaos and fun! Gorgeous pixel art, addictive gameplay and each run comes with a new surprise to try. Even when I die, I feel like I evolved, and I will keep playing until I beat my own record!

I highly recommend the game, it's light, super cheap and serves as a really cool pastime, especially in other games lobbies such as valorant
