About Evergarden

Use your shovel to reclaim barren tiles and slowly bring a quiet little patch of land back to life.Guide the growth yourself, or simply settle in and watch as the ecosystem spreads and the island begins to bloom with color.Send your workers out to gather wood, stone, copper, silver, and gold ore so the island keeps growing even while you take it easy.Meet more than 10 pets and make the most of each one's special perk as you shape the island in your own way.As the island opens up, you'll fill out your Research Notes, uncover relics, and occasionally set off lightning tiles for those rare, extra-satisfying bursts of expansion.

Incomplete, buggy, not fully translated, and lacks explanations for most mechanics.

What started as a fun little incremental idler, by the end of my playthrough became a buggy mess of a grind. Upgrades are all over the place. While you eventually can unlock them all, the order they follow each other feels... misaligned. Which means you have to spend resources and, most importantly, "boss currency" on skills, just to find out if there are some meaningful upgrades hidden further in the branch. But here's the problem - some of the upgrades don't work as written and some even don't work at all. With no "reset" button it becomes a gamble - would this seemingly (by description) useful skill benefit or hinder me? The pet system feels completely unnecessary. Most of the time they pefrorm an action once in 15-20 seconds - every 3-4 so called ingame "ticks". And most of the time that action is basically useless. A bee harvests some "bonus" resource from one tile. Or a moth spawns a swarm, that converts one tile. Or a deer that runs in a straight line... You get the idea. The only useful ones were you first pet slime, cause at this point it at least can do something, and later king slime, cause he performs action every tick. When you reach "endgame" and the game adds a…

It's a good game. Not fully explained sometimes, but I got my money's worth easily. Much more fun than many in this category/genre.

Starts out great but the gameplay loop starts to get stale. Then the games progression breaks where the islands are available before I think they supposed to be, the gold progression breaks where you can no longer get coins, the progression gets to a point where you get stuck around stage 110. Hopefully these bugs get resolved.

I really want to like this game, but several of the talents and features just do not work. It is extremely buggy in this regard. There's even a talent that says TBD on it. It is not a complete game but isn't listed as early access. I requested a refund. If it gets fixed, I might pick it back up, but right now it's too incomplete.

Buggy trash. Starts fun, descend into a nigh-unplayable mess. I played it all the way through to the end not because it was fun, because at that point I was curious if it was even possible to work around all the bugs and beat it. After the first hour, it's just masses of random, untranslated text, upgrades that simply don't work, upgrades that do work but the translated explanation of what the upgrade does is wrong or nonsensical, and some upgrades that aren't even implemented yet? Game isn't marked as Early Access, but it feels like it should be, considering some parts are literally unfinished. I got this as part of a bundle, and that's literally the only reason I'm not requesting a refund. I've paid less money for Early Access games that were better made than this mess.
