Nice horror game with good graphics and good jumpscares!!!2 found this helpful
There was too much that I didn't enjoy about this game to recommend buying it. The horror aspect wasn't bad, it had good atmosphere and jump scares. That's about where the things I liked stops though unfortunately. When you start the game the building you start out in was the exact same building, layout, and details as you play in in the game Left Behind. Both games came out 1 day apart so I guess its a generic asset that a dev can buy. Right off the bat I thought the audio was way too loud and adjusting it in the in game menu seemed to have no change on the overall volume. Also the mouse sensitivity was very high by default and again turning that down in the in game menu seemed to have no effect on it. The triggers in the game that you need to hit/cross to advance the game seemed to either be really slow or hard to hit especially in the second house in the woods. In particular to get the next door to open. I honestly wasn't able to get into the story of the game much as I particular don;'t enjoy when you have to read everything on pieces of paper to follow the in game story. I think it's a lot more satisfying to hear at least the bulk of it in audible form if not all of it. The vi…2 found this helpful
This had great graphics, unsettling atmosphere, the puzzles were decent and the short story wasn't bad. For the price, this is an excellent short horror to go through,2 found this helpful

Here are some things that need improvement for your next project: - Controls: running is very inconsistent, trying to run, sometimes it works, then it stops, and you have to re-press shift. Hard to even know when you're really running. - Mouse icon shows up sometimes... sometimes it doesn't. Be consistent. - Writing is pretty bad. That first note in the director's office reads like it was written by a 7yo. - Scares are amateur, like their idea of scary is a cheap haunted house. Note on a tree that says "Suicide"... I think I'll have a heart attack from fear... This is obviously an amateur project, which is cool. Overall, it's coherent, I've certainly played worse. Doesn't seem like just an asset flip, which is a good direction. I would suggest taking a close look at some games like "Lempo" or "Through the Woods" for comparison and quality inspiration -- I feel these have a similar feel to what you're trying to achieve, and they are executed really well.
