Great game! um, one thing, English please? XD

Exoria is a pretty interesting action adventure game because almost everything I do revolves around the grappling hook. I am sent into a ruined world to find the legendary sword Exoria, and instead of just giving me a normal way of getting around, the game makes the hook the main part of exploration, puzzles and combat. I like that because it gives the game a clear identity straight away. Swinging between points and launching myself around the environment feels much more interesting than simply walking from one area to another. The movement is easily my favourite part. I can use the hook to swing between anchor points, reach higher areas and find different ways through the environment. It gives me quite a bit more freedom than I expected, especially when I start getting comfortable with the movement. The puzzles also make use of the hook instead of feeling completely separate from the main mechanic. I can move ancient structures, open blocked paths and interact with parts of the environment to keep progressing. It is a simple idea, but it holds the different parts of the game together nicely. im asuming this is someones first game or maybe a school project, it took me 22min from start to finish. i thoght the art direction was awsome definetly an A+, the combat is extremely simple, the grapple hook is a cool idea and i think if this was a small verticle slice of a potential future game i think it could be really cool.

This game is fun and has a cool concept. However, I thought I was about to finish the tutorial when in reality I just beat the final boss. The ending is very jarring, lost audio, and provides no context or sense of closure for the character or the player. Perhaps I missed the nuance of this game, but I was shocked at the ending.

I had fun! Only about an hour or less of content but I'll tell you what: a really worthwhile basis for more. If this dev keeps working on it I'll be waiting! Oh it's all in French (I think) too. Gotta know your audience will increase if you support English. But you can get through it anyhow as a playtest. Not super complicated, at least, yet! Keep worrying on it please!!
