What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise the game's visual quality and appreciate that it's well-made from a technical standpoint, with some noting that choices feel meaningful to the story. However, the game's heavy focus on NTR (infidelity) content is a significant point of contention, with several players finding the themes emotionally unrewarding or feeling the game caters too narrowly to specific fetishes rather than offering balanced narrative paths. Some also feel the story lacks depth despite decent presentation, with limited branching that doesn't justify multiple playthroughs.

Trying to decide if I will play more. This game felt too slimy from me. It felt like was made for cucks. I really like Steps of Debauchery but that might be because of the point of view. She can still have a good relationship with her husband and doesn't seem to be shoving it in his face. This game feels like it is going to be full blown in your face. I guess I should have read the reviews more before buying.1 found this helpful
Exploring the Big Apple is a decent Visual Novel. It will certainly not blow your mind, but it does offer a story theme that is rather lacking when it comes to more quality games. There is a good variation of choices throughout that do make for a more impactful feeling then some other VN choice based stories. The actual story itself is pretty steamy, especially as someone who is a big fan of this sort of power dynamic in a relationship. I was especially enjoyed the cleanup scenes, that always makes my world spin. Where the game struggles is the visuals for sure. I usually enjoy this rendering art style, I know it isn't always the biggest hit but it usually doesn't ruin a game for me. However these particular models are not incredibly polished, especially so when it comes to the facial features and expressions. Some of the scenes the expressions alone just look "wrong". But if you can look past that and enjoy the feelings it is meant to invoke rather than the particular visual itself it is truly a pretty good story all things considered. Thank you to the Devs for a enjoyable experience.
Good game shown from both MC perspectives. Only downside, is the game is a bit short. Really hope for an Exploring The Big Apple Pt 2
Exploring the Big Apple is a narrative-driven adult visual novel that places its focus on relationships, life-changing decisions, and the opportunities that come with starting over in a new city. Developed by SadPepper and published by FooxiedGames, the story follows Emma and Patrick, a young married couple who relocate to New York City hoping to build a brighter future. Their plans take an unexpected turn when they temporarily move into the home of Martin, a successful photographer and longtime acquaintance whose presence gradually alters the course of their lives. What begins as a simple story about adapting to a new environment soon develops into a complex web of emotional conflicts, romantic tension, and personal discovery. The game's strongest feature is its commitment to player choice. Conversations and key decisions influence how the relationships between the main characters evolve, allowing players to guide the personalities, loyalties, and emotional connections that shape the narrative. Rather than forcing a single storyline, the game encourages experimentation by presenting multiple branching paths and endings. Each decision carries weight, making every playthrough feel …
I did not expect this game be good. It was great.
