EZ4u is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This one was made by copy + pasting the basic platformer template in NW.js and filling out some stuff. The developers made the game punishingly difficult to try get some of that sweet sweet Super Meatboy cash, but failed. Of course the other reason developers do this is so they don't have to spend a lot of time adding content and levels that gamers will never see anyway. Amateur game dev problems require amateur game dev solutions. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. A game designed to make you rage quit I guess. It succeeds, but there's zero fun factor here. I'm all for difficult level design, but this game is ridiculous.
