Fakeway is a pixel-style survival and building game inspired by Terraria, where players gather resources, craft items, and build their own base in a vast sandbox world. The developer deserves credit for being highly dedicated — consistently updating the game, actively listening to player feedback, and expanding its content toward a mix of Terraria and Stardew Valley, with farming, animal raising, and even traditional medicine crafting. After two years of continuous development, the game is still being regularly updated — I truly appreciate that effort and hope Fakeway will gain more recognition in the future.7 found this helpful
I can say the game is a lot better since I first played it. The dev put a bunch of work into it in a short amount of time. I can see the dedication and its admirable. I have been helping him out with bugs and suggestions and he is very quick to squash any bugs and also add features the game may be missing. A dev that cares about his craft! I hope more people discover this game and buy it! Its still being built but its got a great foundation. Its very early access, basically like a play test, kind of. I can see the potential of a Terraria-like game. Is it similar, yes. Does it have its own charm and mechanics? Yes. Its different but it is within the same genre of Terraria and Starbound. I personally love Terraria, so games that have a similar vibe are my cup of tea! Its not a clone by any means. Definitely get the game and support this hard working dev!1 found this helpful
