It is a NTR game so seeing reviews rating it bad because they don't like NTR seems bizarre to me. Anyway if you do like NTR then it is a good buy. It is a little short though and lacks any real choices for the most part so probably best to buy on sale. Also the top review is wrong, there is no animal abuse in this game.

Fallen Bride Mege, developed by Wolf holiday and published by OTAKU Plan, is a choice-driven visual novel that builds its experience around emotional strain, personal compromise, and the gradual unraveling of a seemingly ordinary relationship. The game begins with a grounded premise—a newly married couple struggling to stay afloat after financial instability disrupts their life—but quickly steers into more provocative territory as circumstances push the central heroine, Mege, into situations that test her values, loyalty, and sense of self. Rather than presenting a heroic or empowering arc, the story leans into discomfort, asking players to navigate a narrative shaped by difficult decisions and their consequences. The structure of the game revolves around branching paths, with player choices determining how Mege’s story develops. These decisions are framed as meaningful turning points, often forcing the player to weigh short-term survival against long-term emotional cost. In its stronger moments, the game succeeds in creating a sense of tension, where each choice feels like it carries weight, gradually shifting the tone of the narrative from hopeful resilience to something darker …

I feel sad for Mochi. The game was quite simple, but the relationships between the main characters (heroes yea, had brain fart), mainly about unfulfilled dreams, were very good. Only what happened with the cat can hit you hard.

Story doesn't really localize well in English, but if you're deeply familiar with Bushido and a conflict resolution culture that's geared towards earthquake readiness... it makes the characters more believable. Not being a burden and keeping conflicts in private is extremely common and highly encouraged, so the wife's actions are entirely believable from the cultural context of Japan. I'm enjoying it... it's excellently animated very good Netorare. Don't expect strategic gameplay, this is almost a visual novel. Also, her name is Megu, not Mege... no idea why they F'd that up.

The story line is very deep. Character design very beautiful and voice actor is match with character. Also, I feel so bad for MC. This game be like "created for real NTR fans" that going far. Who the hll want to see own wife get f*k with others mens. But the story line is okay because it teach about the real story in the world and good ending is the best part. Sorry for grammar....
