About Fear & Hope
Fear and Hope has a decision-based narrative gameplay engine that offers the player multiple branching story paths through the game, each with its own unique challenges, puzzles, clues, characters, monsters / enemies, weapons, survival mechanics and other discoveries to explore. Trying to solve all paths provides a good level of replayability allowing players to uncover more of the game's rich lore, world history, and mysteries with each playthrough.

Pretty cool game with some interesting sci-fi and mystery narrative elements. I enjoyed it. [h3]Pros: [/h3] - the 3D puzzles are diverse, unique, and fairly challenging. They remind me of a Myst like experience and atmosphere at times. e.g. there's no overly detailed instruction / hand-holding prompts or text overlays for the player, you just need to work it out - the clue finding and inventory mechanics of the game are fun if you like hidden objects type games. You can rotate the clues, and sometimes this uncovers important info or direction for other areas of the game (e.g. puzzles) - I like the general vibe of the game and how the elements (story, art style, music, etc) work together to get you in the mood for some fact finding and mystery solving - purely casual gameplay interface. Entire game can be played with mouse [h3]Cons: [/h3] - May be a little pricey for this kind of game, suggest wait for discount - Though it has some replayability with multiple paths and I found the experience fun, it's still a reasonably short game overall in terms of the amount of content - Some 2D elements in the game look a little janky at times, noting it's obviously indie so perhaps expected …1 found this helpful
