Find the Energy

"Find the Energy" is not about finding the energy to review yet another very poor quality game here in the free section of Steam. Instead, it's an "educational" adventure/walking sim with simplistic 2D art assets. The idea is you wander around and get indoctrinated about the wonders of renewable energy. A noble cause, for sure, but we're here for entertaining video games... and the quality here is not great. This is not making education better, but it is making gaming worse. The concept is bland, gameplay is just a few click and complete "quests". It's boring. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free.
