Incredibly grindy. You have to play the same scenes over and over again to unlock the next level. This would be good if the story was.. actually interesting.4 found this helpful
Finding Hannah is a hidden object/merge game where you follow Hannah at a crossroads in her life where she feels conflicted in the present and has a lot on her mind regarding her past and the future. In the game you will find hidden objects in places Hannah visits in her life such as the club, public transportation, work, and her families homes. You will have a mini game between hidden object sessions where you unbag and merge makeup, food, and other things in order to complete goals to get to the next area. The story centers around Hannah, Sigrid (Hannah's mother), and Eva (Hannah's grandmother). It explores their pasts and the impact of various eras social norms on their relationship with the world and each other. The time periods covered the most (by my interpretation) are 1940s/1950s, 1960s/1970s, and 2010s+ This was an interesting game to play. You will have to circle back to the same level multiple times to get enough currency to complete the between level merge it game but other than that the pace is okay. I would recommend Finding Hannah to people who like hidden object games because sometimes the hidden objects are pretty sneaky and fun. Give it a try! Merge t…1 found this helpful
I played the game a few years ago so my memory might be biased by nostalgia a bit but I really enjoyed the hidden object part of the game and the story was a nice addition. There is a gameplay mechanic that's a little grindy where you need to replay levels to collect "currency" to progress. The objects you need to find are randomly placed so there is replay value here. It wasn't terrible but also not amazing. The game is still officially in Early Access but it hasn't received any update since 2023 so it's doubtful we will ever see a full release. But this is a polished game and if you like hidden object games it's actually fun.
Beautiful game! I had a great time playing it :)
The visuals are so pretty and the story is interesting. However you have to keep playing the same puzzle to unlock the next part of the story. The puzzles take like 10 minutes for each story and the story itself is 2-3 minutes long at max, and it's the same puzzle you are solving repeatedly so I was kind of bored. I like the overall vibes though. Also keep in mind right now there is only like 5 episodes out.
(As of Early Access April 2025) Finding Hannah is a game that absolutely knocks it out of the park within its genre, but its genre isn't for everyone. It is a lowkey mobile game (although I played it on computer) where you find hidden objects. It has a lot of repetition in the gameplay because that's basically what these games are for -- it's a relaxing low stakes feedback loop intended to be played here and there rather than in long sessions. As you gain points, you unlock further scenes in the story, and there is a good deal of backtracking to rack up those points, but that's kind of just how the gameplay is set up to work, again that come-and-go repetition unique to mobile games. If you enjoy this genre, then I highly recommend Finding Hannah, as there's an extremely high level of quality and polish in what it does. The art is absolutely gorgeous, and the story is surprisingly heartfelt and nuanced, following the interweaving lives of our protagonist Hannah and her mother and grandmother. It also explores the sorta political generations of modern Berlin in a really interesting way. The larger scenes where you're looking for objects are all backdrops related to what's happening …
