About Fish Hero

Fish Hero is a physics, parkour adventure! Launch yourself up a collection of biomes to reach the summit. Compete against friends by pushing them off platforms to throw them off course. Explore a unique world as a fish out of water.

Climb!

It's a long road ahead, you better get your big fish boots on and start climbing with or without Friends! you'll need to get used to the fish's flop to succeed. It may take a few too many falls keep in mind...

Fall!

Oh and it won't be easy. You can only place one checkpoint at any time making for a risky journey. luckily there are some nets placed by fisherman to catch your fall (if you're lucky)

Developer Note

I've been a big fan of the Foddian-like genre, I decided to create one myself but make sure there's the added fun of multiplayer. I thought about hundreds of fish climbing a huge level in sync. Therefore Fish Hero needed to be made before I could rest. Try and beat it and tweet at me @HENRY_MEAD_

Thanks! Have Fun Falling!

✦ AI summary

Fish Hero is a physics-based platformer with a fun absurd premise that offers genuine challenge and moments of enjoyment, but is held back by significant technical and design issues. Players consistently complain about problematic camera controls, a frustrating checkpoint system that doesn't work as intended, and various bugs including crashes and visual glitches that undermine the experience. While some find the difficulty rewarding and the core concept charming, the combination of poor controls and unstable performance makes it difficult to recommend in its current state.

Fish Hero is a quirky physics-based climbing platformer developed and published by MODE24. Built around a deliberately absurd concept, the game challenges players to guide a fish through a towering obstacle course far removed from the creature’s natural aquatic habitat. Rather than relying on traditional platforming mechanics, the game centers on unpredictable physics-driven movement that turns every jump, flop, and bounce into a careful test of timing and control. What begins as a humorous premise quickly evolves into a demanding gameplay experience where persistence and mastery of awkward movement mechanics become the keys to success. The premise is intentionally simple yet effective. Players control a stranded fish attempting to climb a massive vertical world composed of strange platforms, environmental obstacles, and surreal landscapes. Because the protagonist is a fish outside of water, its movement is intentionally clumsy. Instead of running or jumping like a traditional platforming character, the fish propels itself by flopping, sliding, and launching its body across surfaces. This awkward method of movement is not merely a visual joke—it forms the core gameplay challenge. …

This game is good, besides that you can't manage camera sensitivity, and the checkpoint system is completely useless because when you want to place a new one it teleports you to the last one
