About Food Chain
You have to control the animal in an uncompromising struggle for survival. Each has its own individual characteristics: mass, speed, manoeuvrability, damage, skin thickness, absorb and dry. The battle takes place on land, in water and in the air. Water is a major resource that activates regeneration and prevents death from thirst. You can distance yourself, but the drought begins and players are forced to go to a risky rapprochement in the fight for the last water.
How not to became Food
- You need water, just put your head in it.
- Water goes out, it's inevitable.
- Use claws, jaws, hooves, horns and beaks in the fight for last water.
Early Access Features
- The game is based on a sensitive sync of complex skeletons. Each part of the body, when collide with an obstacle, affects the movement according to its proximity to the center of gravity.
- Sound appears through physical interactions. It feels authentic, and I think more surfaces will be added.
- Animals not invented, only used. Fourteen species are available: bear, boar, crocodile, crow, deer, eagle, elephant, fox, goat, owl, hippopotamus, lion, rhinoceros, wolf. Their numbers are limited to common sense. This does not mean that new animals will be actively added, but in the future, it will probably be part of a season cycle.
- I look at the simulation as a potential single player mode in which you could create battles, by controlling behaviors.
- After obtaining sufficient data, detailed statistics for each species, player ratings, statistics, graphs, etc., will be available.

My friend Sam told me to get this game because he just loves animals but turns out he never even got the game so it's just me playing in an empty lobby while he plays overwatch all the time. He really loves to play that overwatch game, I think his favorite character is the one that looks like a horse. Sam really loves any game with animals in it though, even the ones with future horses that shoot laser guns and whatever else. Really wish that my friend Sam would download this game and play Food Chain with me though. Maybe when he eventually tires himself out on overwatch we can play Food Chain together. Looking forward to the day that happens. Sam has a couple of dogs, they're really fun and love to run around in circles, I just love watching them run around circles. I really wish those dogs were in the game too, because they would be a great addition to the empty lobby I'm playing in since my friend Sam won't download the game.17 found this helpful
Absoloutely awful. Let me tell you why. It's realistic, and looks fun. It mentions the controls, but then that's all you can do is bob your head, can't walk. Controls are W A S D so i expected you'd be able to move? WASTE OF MONEY! Don't buy this game if you like free roam and if you think it looks decent.2 found this helpful
