Food Idle

its called an idle game but you have to move the finished dishes to a conveyer belt manually. no automation option. so the only way to earn money is manually drag each dish. so i would not call this an idle game. please change the name or add a automation option.

decent game, fun and interesting, but as of right now theres no sense of progression, nothing to really stride for. feels like a sandbox with no objective

does not have basic short cut like copy paste make the whole thing tedious. The progression is also poor and with a good dose of gambling. Also performence are pretty poor already lag after draging 20 item on the belt

This was one of the idol games I was the most excited for in quite some time. There's just something about node-based crafting games that are really good. I think that the developer for this game doesn't get enough credit for the work he's done so far. Many issues players have had with progression and automation have been fixed either within 1 to 2 days of release. Like being able to sell items automatically being added in already. Most of the negative reviews I've seen stem from issues that have already been fixed. At the end of the day the game is free. And the developer has put in a lot more work than you might think. The game says it requires broadband connection but I was able to play an airplane mode no problem. While most games in this specific setting would have an internet connection required to an automated AI system for crafting this game however has had all its crafting ingredients and recipes built into the files themselves manually from scratch allowing it to run independently from an internet connection which I feel like more games like this should do. The developer has listened to feed back. Fixing issues as they have arisen. And put in a lot more work for this type…

I did too much and now the game crashes upon pressing play. I found you can stack the production pieces and block under where the first produced item is made. this allows you to for example make 10 pots, set them all up for the same recipe, stack them, and then the recipe is produced in one place. when you click the produced food it will stack each click. click until all 10 are stacked together then sell. This is much more efficient than the game "teaches" you how to play. however.... when you start setting up more than 3 or 4 recipes with 10 stacks each... the game crashes. even without stacking I imagine this relatively low limit could be reached. There needs to be a QOL improvements to allow mass production without crashing the game. Really cool idea, hopefully this game continues to improve and grow!

There doesn't seem to be any depth to this game; there's no way to unlock new items (nor does there seem to be any). But it would be fun to see actually complex craft chains. Also, I'd like to point out the very questionable (not dubious, but just weird design decision) to lock everything behind a gatcha system. So you need to keep grinding for a chance to see better gameplay (assuming you unlocked the right recipes and ingredients). Coins and XP are easy to come by (you just cook the current "hot" food item and make a bajillion of that thing. However, it is extremely fustrating that the basic UI does not work when there are more than a handful of nodes as basic dragging events just don't work and I was fustrated trying to sell the completed foods that was piling up on the screen.
