To be perfectly honest, I was on the fence on giving this game a positive review. While Forbidden Offering does not reinvent the wheel, as far as Survivors-likes go, it delivers a decent enough experience that I would recommend at least giving the demo a shot. Unfortunately, however, it feels... unfinished in its current state. [h2]The Bad[/h2] My main point of contention here is that the game is simply too short, with only three chapters total. Although it initially builds a compelling nobledark setting about a doomed world only maintained by inhumane rituals, Forbidden Offering barely expands upon that during gameplay or the short cutscenes in between chapters. Instead, we get treated to the story of the witch March and the recently rescued sacrifice Lenore. Unfortunately, the sequences are simply too short to introduce any serious character development.
