Best game in the world ever. It is also the dream game I want to ever made. I purchased the remake version to support the author. Btw now the fullscreen is fixed and can run without lag. For input I still find steam input mapping is helpful soo i can play it with D-pads, given its hard core nature of the fighting game gene. Character 10/10 Story and Resonance 10/10 Atmosphere, Music, Graphics 10/10 Gameplay 9/10 AI companion 10/10 Length 9/10 Runs smoothly in steam deck like device. Gamepad is recommended. Combat is hard, challenging and have some depth, have some practice you will enjoy mastering it. It is a very rare game that put full FTG mechanics and carefully designed enemy into an ARPG. The fighting system itself already becomes my best game. Best bubble wrap clicker. Really hope to see future adventure of Arche!

combat feels great, however the story is filled with backtracking trough areas with worthless enemies and 'talk to random guy in the far corner of town to progress'. like there's an area with a windmill when you enter town, guy standing next to it tells you it's broken, however there's a second windmill with a guy who tells you the same thing but it's required to talk to them to then talk to the mayor. also the dungeons suck at times, some enemies can block attacks which can only be hit through with magic... the main character can't use magic... also there's massive lag before you can attack while in the air so flying enemies also require magic... aka the main character who is the most interesting to play and has the most going on is sometimes just worthless for an entire dungeon. oh and on top of all this, required secret doors... yep you need a guide to do anything, and this game lacks good ones. also there's a bug were menus lag via a memory leak so restart the game often unless you're really into action platformers I would not recommend
