Not the most directly challenging game in the world, but wow it's difficult to get everything working just right...and very satisfyingly so. Wish there were a few more mods available that got to the core of some of the game features (e.g., map and resource deposit alterations), but that's not the fault of the game, and frankly it's probably best that I'm having enough fun with the vanilla version not to need them.
Refreshingly different and unique, has a lot of potential for more complexity but only after some annoyances get fixed. The gridless building is really cool, you have to be mindful of your placements it can cause routing issues when you start reaching 200-300+ people, such as hard to track down "path is blocked" messages. The tutorial advice and tips could use a lot of improvement, it can be hard to find things in the UI that the tutorial is referring to, I feel like edicts and privileges should be on the same page because they are interrelated and mentioned in the same part of the tutorial, it took me forever to find the page where privileges are set. The absolute most annoying thing that nearly made me give up and give a bad review was continually upgrading and downgrading homes, once homes upgraded they would immediatly downgrade for seemingly no reason and this drained all the resources, it was frustrating to fix because commoners left and I had no resources and it kept happening! Simillarily I have seen the butcher and other industries be idle not producing anything despite resources being available, people don't have access to the products and leave causing other issu…
I've had fun during the early access, but since the full version there's a graphical bug that won't go away. Fun is gone.
