Freedom Fall

I love this game, i dont know why.. but, it just fills me with joy and hope for sequel. The platforming itself is really easy, You can beat the game under 2 hours but please dont refund it. The music is so good, it fits in most of the levels and situations you find in. The Visuals are really charming and i think its really cute and good for this game, the designs of the characters and levels itself, the visual gags and "secrets" are neat and just everything fits. But one of the strongest parts of this game its the narrative and story telling, the "dialogues" you could say. They are absolutely amazing and funny, even when its just writings/paintings on the wall it just makes the world feels set in and alive. At times i felt like i was insulted by Handsome Jack which i found funny and just soo good. And the story its simple yet it just sucks you kinda in. I know its funny that its in an platforming game with zero dialogue and just writings on the wall but it is really that good. I definetly recommend this game, maybe not in the full price since yeah its only 2 hours (maybe more if you really want to go for the achievments) so maybe pick it up on a sale or not, it all dep…

Freedom Fall is a surprisingly charming platformer that hooked me far more than I expected — the princess's sardonic wall writings are genuinely hilarious and give the game a personality you rarely find in the genre. Falling down a trap-filled tower instead of climbing up feels refreshingly different, and the level design does a great job of offering both easy and hard paths depending on how much of a challenge you want. The hand-drawn art, solid soundtrack, and frequent checkpoints make the whole experience feel polished and fun. The only real downside is that it's quite short — I finished my first run in about 90 minutes — so I'd recommend grabbing it on sale rather than at full price. If you catch it in a bundle or at a discount, it's absolutely worth your time.

Ah, Freedom fall, the game where you are a prisoner in a tower, and your goal is to escape. Sounds simple, right? Not quite so. Freedom fall is a simple, 2D game where you play as a young man, waking up in his prison cell, trying to escape the clutches of an evil princess. This trope turning has its value, but honestly, after about half of this short game, I found it to be uninspiring. Throughout the game, you’ll find messages from the princess scribbled on walls. Often you’ll see two ways you can proceed – and the easier one will be labeled as “for cowards”. But I did not care for the princess or her remarks – I play games to have fun, not be provoked by teenage wall writings. The graphics are simple and likable. Whenever you die, whether by impalement on spikes or cut by spinning blades, you leave a blood mark on the item of your demise, which is a nice touch. The colorful palette is used in a manner pleasing to the eye, and the backgrounds change, which is always a good thing in games such as these. The gameplay is fast pacing and fun.
