G-Rebels

Even though this game is still in early access status, I'm finding myself spending hours and hours playing it in VR because it's already quite polished and a lot of fun. The developers have come a long way in a short period of time improving it. As it is now, graphics are already impressive, so the gameplay is, as well as the music. I love the atmosphere, to which the weather effects contribute, which are stunning.

The game play is fluid and easy to master. Although the content is low (approx. 3 hrs), but the game is still in development. Looking forward to more story content. I do recommend it at it's current stage.

honestly not a very fun experience in my opinion. Thought there would be more substance but the voice acting alone, is rather annoying. (as is pretty much all AI generated). Not it at all that i thought it would be game wise.

Its G-police in modern day. That alone is worth the price to entry. Solid game with good flight controls and mechanics. I will say if you do not like escort missions . . . . probabbly not the game for you. Also the package run mission with random spawning cops really needs some tuning. Had a good few cops spawn with 0 chance of navigating around them. Combat is a fun arcade experience. For an early access title its well worth it.

This is a solid game with a strong atmosphere and a strong hook. You're constantly incentivized to upgrade your SkyBlade (aircraft) as challenges become increasingly and quickly difficult. I suggest "sizing up" your opponent's difficulty level before engaging or you could end up in some trouble. But the differences to your ship are noticeable once upgraded, and therefore rewarding. The open world is great, and I wish there were more games that focused on "vibe" like this. There are a minor range of activities to do, but this is an early access game that plays very well and is priced for that expectation so I don't take major issue with this. I hope the devs continue fleshing this out. One thing I'll add in my edit after completing the main story content available so far, is that the additional activities do not really seem worth the time vs. the reward, especially the smuggler missions. You can just farm open world bounties to be much more efficient with your time vs. earnings. I also found the smuggler missions vry frustrating and tedious. Racing was just ok. The Black Widow/assassination missions were good though. Again not worth the money but at least they were short and focused…
