About Gacha Fever

Who do you call when the city is attacked by monsters ? Right, the Gacha Fighters ! In this bullet heaven survivor, pull your character from your gacha machine, and destroy your enemies with cuteness ♡ Keychains ? No ! They are weapons ! Collect and upgrade them to see what they do. Choose your weapons carefully, from the machine gun, to the magic wand and not the Buble-Canon
Choose your items wisely to maximize your statistics. Collecter les Bubble Teas ! Mochis ! Fuse items to have more powerful ones ! When you're not surviving, you're decorating your sticker book with all the success you won during missions !

In this genre of vampire survivor, we want to give the player the possibility to choose their path, their environment as well as the boss to face.
A simple crafting system to slightly complicate the genre.
So, ready to take on Gacha Fever ? Just be careful of the area !
Survive waves of increasingly dangerous enemies with Hard Mode. More enemies and more elite enemies !

CONTROLS

Nothing’s easier ! Armed with your computer keyboard and mouse, all you’d have to do is using the directional pad to move from one way to another during the stage and pick the items you like by clicking on it after each fight !
- Lots of kawaii heroes to obtain who will give you different runs ! - Fast runs (under 25 minutes)
- Auto-firing weapons - Lots and lots of weapons with different effects ! - A Craft system linked to item loot ! - Between each wave of enemies you can buy weapons, loot and craft !

Why are so many of these games struggling so much with basic comprehensibility? That thing I said in the Twilight Survivors review, about how “HEY LOOK TIDDIES” on Steam pages always instatranslates to “this game sucks and we, the dev, know it” in my head, really holds up here. All flash, baffling substance. The game really banks on its aesthetic and it’s… okay? It’s Too Much, clearly on purpose, but also in a really bland and derivative way — compare to something like Juicy Realm, which has an over-the-top look that immediately distinguishes it. And, of course, like too many of the games trying to cash in on the Survivorlike boom, it throws away parseability in order to achieve its ‘look.’ But don’t worry, the game design choices are also bad. At first I thought there was no levelling, but there actually is, it just doesn’t apply until you clear a wave, at which point you’re catapulted to a huge menu with no explanations and allows to pick buffs — it took me a while to figure this out, but the number of buffs you get is based on how many times you levelled up. Your weapon selection seems (?) completely disvorced from your level, though, and is entirely based on your ability to …

i found this game originally off of opera gx as a free demo and all i have to say is that its super worth trying it out! the basic gist of this game is that you collect items to make you stronger while fighting waves of enemies and collecting weapons to help you fight them as well, my personal favorite weapons are the Oni annihilator and boba gun. when you level up your player level, you can also pull from the Gacha machine to either unlock new characters to play as or you can unlock other items to help you out for future battles. i really hope you check this game out and enjoy the fun I've had too!

Despite my enjoyment, I cannot recommend this to everyone. The major issue is the lack of maneuverability the game allows. Every level except for the beach has obstructions everywhere. You must find a way around a wall, but the enemies pass through with ease. So you can't even use the environment to your advantage. If that weren't enough, there's a red ring of death. If you go outside the ring, you get hurt. And on top of that, the ring shrinks rapidly. If these issues didn't exist, the game would be great. But I don't see these issues ever being fixed.
