ARGHHHHHHHHHH!! As much as I want to like this game.. I just can't! The old school 8 bit music and sound effects is more annoying than someone crunching chips half an inch from your ear obnoxiously while someone else is running their fingernails across a chalk board an inch from your other ear... and the game has NO WAY to turn the music off or turn it down. While the game does work with a controller, it also has terrible keyboard controls, the arrow keys and the X key to fire. Ugh, Just six minutes of this game was enough to have me ready to punch my wall due to how maddeningly annoying the obnoxious is! Please make it so we can MUTE the music @ dev(s), and maybe I can recommend this. But right now it just makes me want to punch someone. NOT RECOMMENDED (due to super annoying music that sounds like someone making music with their fingernails on a chalkboard)

This is a pretty fun, but challenging retro game. I liked it for the short time I played it and is a good time-filler. I managed to get to the 5th sector. While it starts out deceptively easy, it gets hard quick. I honestly don't know what the other reviewer was talking about regarding the annoying, 8-bit sounds of the game. The sound didn't bother me at all. I am not sure how many sectors there are to this game, but once you are out of lives, there does not seem to be any continues to the game, so it takes practice. This is a good game to play in short intervals if you are looking to fill some time and/or like retro-inspired games. It has controller support and you really can't go wrong for the price.
