「キャンサー」にはこれまで人類が生み出してきた兵器による攻撃が一切通じず、撃退する術を持たない人類は、敢えなく敗退した。
土地は放棄され、様々な国が戦禍に消えていった。今では陸地の大半は「キャンサー」の支配下である。
人類に残された時間は少なく、絶滅も覚悟したとき、ひとつの新兵器が開発された。
それこそが決戦兵器「セラフ」。
それを装備した者だけが「キャンサー」に効果的な打撃を与えることができた。
人類は「セラフ」を操る術を手にした者たちをかき集め、最後の希望を託してセラフ部隊を設立した。

First played this game few years back, and recently played back this game at the opening year, everything was fine and all until error P403, region restricted, I understand, i deleted the game and let it sit for a few months, thinking that it will be fine afterwards, until just now I reinstalled, i logged in but turns out i started the game from scratch. Years of progression and collection are gone, all the limited event characters and all my hard work gone, and don't even think about going to customer support for recovery, u gotta be as detailed as possible, ur current chapter day and chapter week, ur total crystals amount and whatever bs that the form listed.9 found this helpful

Heaven Burns Red is a story-driven RPG that blends emotional storytelling, strategic turn-based combat, and character-focused progression into an experience that feels far more like an interactive drama than a conventional role-playing game. Developed by WRIGHT FLYER STUDIOS in collaboration with VisualArts/Key, the game showcases the narrative talents of Jun Maeda, whose writing has long been celebrated for balancing humor, romance, friendship, and heartbreaking moments. Set in a future where humanity has been pushed to the edge of extinction by mysterious alien entities known as the Cancer, the game follows a group of gifted young women who wield powerful Seraph weapons, humanity's final line of defense against an unstoppable enemy. The narrative is unquestionably the centerpiece of the experience. Players step into the shoes of Ruka Kayamori, whose journey introduces a colorful cast of teammates, each possessing distinct personalities, ambitions, and emotional baggage. Rather than rushing from battle to battle, the game spends considerable time developing friendships, rivalries, and personal struggles through lengthy conversations and slice-of-life moments. The story is genuinely amazing from chapter 1 to 4. Studio Key is so adapt at laying the groundwork of the plot with silly moments, slowly adding more elements and conflicts until the emotions explode at the climax. And ALL lines of dialogue are voiced, can't stress how amazing that is. There are so many different characters who appear to be a stereotype materialized at first, but as you read the relevant stories, they develop into memorable characters. I also loved the Japanese girl band rock music. The lyrics are confusing at times, but this is backed by a canonical reason, so it's okay. A lot of people complain that the combat is bad, I have to disagree since there definitely is depth, it's just the amount of battles you run into across all content, it gets extremely repetitive, but the boss battles are pretty fun. I would have left off there originally, but in recent years, this game FELL OFF HARD. Even as the game was still winning awards, there were people complaining at the sheer amount of characters being churned out compared to the speed the story and events were happening at. Of course powercreep was unavoidable, but it got so bad that the dev team decided to make change…
