The Enhanced Edition features lots of new and exciting content.
- Additional hours of gameplay: New adventures set in previously unseen locations, expanding the story and introducing new characters, mysteries and monsters.
- New game introduction and cinematics: All new animations and cutscenes, including a new pre-rendered cinematic intro directed by BAFTA Award winner and Academy Award nominee Tomasz Bagiński.

Players praise the improved graphics and handling compared to the first game, with the story providing decent buildup through its early chapters. However, common complaints include the game feeling short and rushed, particularly the abrupt final chapter, unbalanced difficulty that makes the player overpowered against regular enemies but trivializes the final boss, limited world exploration due to closed-off map sections, and numerous game-breaking bugs that detract from the experience.
It's a short game. Took me 17 hours to finish. There isn't a lot to do in the world as its pretty closed and the game only lets you traverse through small sections of the map. The story was alright but it ended too quickly. There was a lot of buildup of tension in the story at the end of chapter 2 but the game ended at chapter 3 really quickly, chapter 3 only took me less than 2.5 hours to beat. The game also felt too easy even on easy mode as I literally turned into a bullet sponge at the end. Ironically, the final boss dealt less damage than random kaedwani soldiers. Overall, it's an ok game but felt like nothing really carried over to TW3
