I think the two are just a little too close to each other for me to be at fault for that mix-up. Anyways, it didn't take long to realize this was a short puzzle platforming game, that I wound up finishing faster than expected. It'd be unlikely to take most people even an hour to beat it.
Gameplay
Each level has a spawning point, crowbar, and exit door. You'll fall from the spawning point each time you freeze a clone in place, which can be done mid-jump. The next clone gets made instantly, so if you're still holding left as part of a jump, you'll fall from the start location going in that direction. Before exiting you have to grab the crowbar, but otherwise can use as few clones as needed, although you're limited to whatever number is displayed on the spawn point. Anytime you die, it…5 found this helpful
Gelu, developed and published by NedoStudio, is a compact yet cleverly designed 2D puzzle-platformer that builds its identity around a single, elegant mechanic. At first glance, it presents itself as a retro-inspired pixel art platformer with simple controls and charming visuals. However, beneath its modest presentation lies a surprisingly thoughtful puzzle structure that steadily challenges spatial awareness, planning, and timing. Rather than relying on narrative depth or sprawling worlds, Gelu focuses on mechanical precision and puzzle ingenuity. Players control a small, endearing protagonist whose defining ability is the power to create and destroy ice clones of himself. This mechanic transforms standard platforming into a layered puzzle experience. Each level limits the number of ice copies available, forcing players to think carefully about placement and timing. These clones function as temporary platforms, ladders, or stepping stones, enabling Gelu to scale vertical spaces, cross dangerous gaps, or trigger pressure switches. The act of creating and removing clones becomes an ongoing exercise in spatial reasoning, as players must visualize how each placement affects the overa…
There are some creative level designs, but it's a very simple game. 40 levels where you place blocks and then respawn to step on the blocks you created. A couple levels are tough but most took me less than a minute to finish. It's not very good or compelling but it's totally playable.
Easy-to-play as well as easy to understand, I'm pretty sure this short but well-designed 2D Game, is only for these guys that are really old gamers. So, people who say "I don't like the background music", "I can't jump because there is a cube that wasn't designed as I wished", or "I don't like it because it has no story", can just uninstall the game and play Fortnite.
Well, that was interesting.
Nice idea game, but implementation a bit rough. maybe make characters ability to slow time or make jump drop down a bit slower could make better experience. also touching spike resets everything it just annoys player. just remove from number u have multiple option to do map (hard way or sneaky way mostly). music is repetitive. I love character design and small animation on jump. if you change platform colors or background could be great. My eyes could differentiate most times.
