I have been a fan of this game since I was 12, I'm now 22, and I finally played this game after 10 years and I must say, it's a beautiful visual novel featuring the finest bosoms and admittedly, the most twisted series of events akin to that of Goosebumps considering the transformation aspect the characters endure throughout the stories. On top of that, the art is quite... Well, let's just say for a 2014 game, even the art style was quite... Dated. Not bad, in fact, quite cute, just could be better in my opinion. That being said, I love Gender Bender DNA Twister Extreme and I'd highly recommend it to any fellow visual novel fanatic.

This game is amazing and funny. And it helped me find out a lot things about myself. I would highly recommend this game.

Gender Bender DNA Twister Extreme (GBDNATE) feels like a game of nots. This is NOT a Max Big Bust game (even if a few characters carry over to that series / universe). This is NOT a purely fetish game. This game is NOT trying to say anything about the experiences of being trans, or what that would be like. So what is this game? Put simply, it feels like a collection of short stories set around a world where due to a gas explosion, several employees end up as girls, and cascades into people being able to alter their DNA on a whim. The writing is overall good, but clunky in places and it does have some stuff in it that feels liek the author was sticking a bit too close to tropes, for better or worse. The stories past the initial explosion also have a bad job of establishing a timeframe of how long its been since - it took me until the conclusion to realize the final two chapters take place a few years after all the other ones. That said, the humor is decent, although I feel the writer was maybe upset at the artist towards the end. Speaking of... the art. Normally not top of mind for most VNs... this one has the look that someone did all the art in 2000s MS paint. I find it weirdly …

This game is a great de-stresser. Whenever life is too much for me, I pop into Siren's Point and everything feels a little better. I enjoy the chill music and the bright town. One of the things I love the most is how the game's universe is surprisingly consistent between the different characters' stories. When you start a new character, you're building off what you learned about the town from the previous character. What I mean is, the things that happen in one characters' storyline will often be mentioned in-or even have a small effect on-another character's storyline. So it makes sense to play through each more than once to really appreciate the game's carefully constructed universe. Pay attention to the side characters too because many of them will appear later on when playing a different storyline and have their own mini dilemmas going on. I love the recurring dialogue about the unhealthy nachos at the Green Cat Cafe and the little easter eggs like how there's an Abadon vending machine at Dan's music studio.
