sadly i can't recommend this. it felt like a game that needed major polish. Yes its very similar to speedrunners. the artwork was fine. it just felt clunky/lagging a bit and even felt the controls weren't really reacting when you used them. if the devs actually focused on it then it could be a decent game. also you're limited on characters. there isn't many to choose from at the start. you can't even switch to one of the other sisters unless someone takes first place at the beginning of playing it.3 found this helpful
I really liked when the Runner mode was added to the original game, it was a ton of fun and wished I could play it with other people online. So when I found out Dream Runners was coming out, I snapped it up as fast as I could to play online with tons of other Giana fans. Except either the serves are perpetually empty, or they just never connect to anything. So I paid to have an online experience of a free mode except it's not even online in the first place. Fun little game with plenty of levels to keep you entertained for hours in multiplayer. The difficulty ranges from easy to genuinely challenging, so there’s always something to suit your mood. Even after a long break, jumping back in never feels boring. At this price point, it’s definitely a solid recommendation for your library.
not a bad game game i feel there is stuff missing like a tutorial maybe a single player mode i mean you can play with bots but some sorta lil campaign or something would be cool giana sisters have a big legacy so they could do something like that fun with friends too
Broken game since day one. Fix promised, but never delivered.
