Follow The Cpt Froggy Club Curator Page for plenty more!
Giant Life: ~~~~~~~~ Every now and then you might experience a crappy day. From the time you wake up until the time you lay your head on your favourite pillow, it seems that these specific days just get worse by the minute. It might be a combination of several things that happen throughout the day, and they are amplified if you feel sick. For me, when one of these days arise, I always wish I was a giant, taking my revenge out on all the pitiful people who contributed to my bad day, squashing them and destroying everything they own. As a matter of fact, I had one of these days today! So, if you are in the same situation and need to let off some steam, I invite you to do so in the land of Giant Life! Giant Life is a VR action/casual game developed and published by Patagoniart, and has been available on the Steam platform since the 8 of June 2019. The game is composed of a tutorial and 22 levels.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Please note: I received a free Steam key to review this game. You can view my review & gameplay here (pre-release): https://youtu.be/Rdub_BmT1pc So I gave an intial impressions review above with the pre-release version of the game. The game has had some updates to the gameplay since that time. There are now two new kinds of rocks. Before I get to that, let me explain the game. This is basically a rock throwing game, similar to Angry Birds (physics-based puzzle game). However, the throwing physics is on the arcade side, although it does work (the more force you throw with, the farther the rock will go, along with the correct trajectory). On my 1060 GTX, I experienced gameplay lag spikes during various ocassions, but almost always when there were several explosions on screen. You are a giant who hurls rocks at the village. Your goal is to get the highest score possible. There are 5 types of rocks: a normal rock, a rock that splits into other rocks (strategic to get hits on several structures with this), a fire rock that you can press trigger to split unto smaller fire rocks in the air, a green rock that bounce…

This game was a treat to play it has 22 levels across different themes. Performance of the game is acceptable , but i did had issues getting 90fps average throughout the whole playtime. The Game costs 9 pucks, i say ... put it on your wish list and when it is on sale pick it up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1wJtcd6RnY

Had a lot of fun, amazing physics system! Took me 2 hours to complete the game. It has great replayability with the 3 stars achievement system. Hopefully they add more content!
