About A Giant Problem
A Giant Problem is a VR game for the HTC Vive family, Oculus Rift & Rift S headsets. Support for the Valve Index is coming. The game is in a working and playable state, with most characters, abilities, and assets included. But the game is not completely balanced, nor are all of the planned features and modes implemented. Hence why Early Access begins on April 1, 2020.
Still to come are the following:
Invaders! Your once peaceful village faces unknown hordes hellbent on taking everything from you and your people. You’ve got a giant problem. And only the combination of your wits, skill and ancient magics will stave them off while your friends and family can get to safety. That's why you've been chosen to taken on the helm and defend your land.
Are you big enough to stand up to them? Of course you are! You’re a freaking giant! Step in to save your town with all the might someone of your size can bring to bear.
Smash, bash and mash your enemies with your mighty fists! Or Make use of the buildings and objects around you to fend off the hordes sent by the king!
Lead from the front! Command the people of your village to mount a valiant defense. Direct counter-attacks or toss your warriors directly into the fray!
Man the wall! It’s once more unto the breach, only you’re there to stop everyone. Repair your village’s defenses and place troops to hold the line!
Utilize the elements! Fire, Ice, and Shadow?! Combine the properties and powers of magic with your giant might in surprising ways to protect your treasures!
Emerge victorious! Keep your villagers alive, protect your gold and hold your ground and you might just defeat the King’s forces!

I have tried 2 levels (there are two available right now). And played only for a while. So these are only my first impressions. POSITIVES: I very like defensive concept of the game. Actual game features: - 2 defensive levels - 2 types of magic spells you can throw on your enemies - You can pick up tree to fight your enemy, however it last only couple hits - There are like 5 types of enemies until wave 6, one flying. In further waves there are maybe even more varieties. I like it. - There is a leaderboard for daily quest (which is one of the levels but the score appears on leaderboard) - Enemies are stealing the gold from you or destroying your buildings - Flying enemies can blind you for a while - You can customize your character hand colour in menu NEGATIVES: - VERY BAD movement feel (at least for me). I smashed my Oculus 3 times during one level and 2 times the wall and surface and table (I have 2 x 1,5m play area). Maybe I will get used to it, this is just my first impression. - There is no leaderboard for anything else but daily level (which will in my opinion reset every day) - no gold gain (so far) - no level progression (so far) - no equipment progression (so far) - no s…19 found this helpful
I am reviewing the early access and will post updates along with upcoming updates. + bashing is too much fun + spells are great + clear road map + throwing enemies in the distance + a steal for the sale price with upcoming updates - movement, jolting around is straining in VR - progression, items and more levels needed (this is coming according to road map) Should the characters react differently to the fact that I am a giant whacking them with trees and an enormous mallet? Fear me!6 found this helpful
Pick up, throw and smash Zool goblins before they steal from your stash of treasure. Use your environment, hurl rocks and trees... take them out any way you can! thieving little jerks.. https://youtu.be/xvhfXJnZZec3 found this helpful
