super cool concept but all the cooking is on a shared and rather short timer, also devs please add some accessibility options (maybe mouse only minigame setting or way to rebind keys), until then i'm physically unable to keep playing. :(2 found this helpful
I just nuked an army of onions with the power of Guacamole, this game is already worth the money in early access and I think it's only going to get better.1 found this helpful
GladiEATers is fun. That's it! The cooking games are fun, the stories are enticing, the creature combat is super compelling and every turn I have so much to consider ( but not too much!) I love love LOVE any game willing to put so much effort in crafting such beautiful pixel art, I can't believe how many animations there are! Coupled with a banging soundtrack and some truly heartfelt stories in the Chef Story mode, this game hit the nail in the head for me!!1 found this helpful

Fun little roguelite creature battler where you complete Cooking Mama style minigames to make your creatures, compounding bigger recipes for stronger versions of said creature (for example, turning a fried egg into an omelet, or dough into bread). It features various chefs to select from, each with their own cuisines and thus, different creatures and playstyles. There isn't a TON of creature variety (around 65 creatures at the time of this review), and there's slight overlap between chefs, but that's okay. I sort of wish we had more variation in cuisines, as right now it all seems to be heavily farm-fresh, vegan/vegetarian based dishes. Which is fine, but It would be cool to see more protein focused chefs, or just generally less healthy foods, like burgers, chicken, pasta, etc. I also do wish that some of the instructions for the minigames were clearer, as there were times I had to fail a few due to trial and error. I think this is mostly due to translation, as I noticed a few grammar errors in the dialogue as well. Alongside the standard roguelite mode, there seems to be a mini-campaign for each chef, which is cool. All-in-all I do believe this game is worth the price! This i…
Game barely works, I didn't manage to finish a single run because it constantly breaks itself and softlocks. Unfortunately, I missed the refund window so this review stays for anyone thinking to buy it.
