✦ AI summary

Players praise Gnomes Garden for its charming visuals, relaxing gameplay, and accessible time-management mechanics that appeal to casual gamers and kids alike. However, complaints center on the high difficulty spike for achieving three-star ratings, the inability to cancel actions, limited replayability beyond the 49 levels, and a price point that feels steep relative to the content offered, with some finding it less engaging than similar games in the genre like Royal Envoy.

Point and click time-constrained resource management game, with a simple story, and 49 levels, that require you to build specific buildings and/or collect a specific amount of resources within a specific time. Good music and cute artwork. Very easy to play, and very relaxing. Does not offer much replayability beyond the available levels, though. A tad expensive for the content offered, but it is nevertheless enjoyable if you are looking for an easy and casual point and click experience, and is good for kids too. 7/10

Gnomes Garden is a fantasy time-management and resource-management game developed by Workroom7 and Creobit and published by 8Floor. Combining accessible strategy mechanics with a colorful fairy-tale setting, the game offers a lighthearted adventure centered on rebuilding a kingdom that has fallen into decline. While it does not aim for the complexity of larger strategy titles, it succeeds by delivering a steady stream of engaging challenges, charming visuals, and rewarding progression that make it an enjoyable experience for casual players and fans of the genre alike. The story begins when an unusually severe drought devastates the kingdom's once-beautiful gardens. The lush landscapes that brought prosperity and happiness to the realm are reduced to lifeless wastelands, and the king becomes gravely ill after witnessing the destruction. With the kingdom facing uncertainty, the young princess decides to take action. Determined to restore both the magical gardens and her father's health, she embarks on a journey across the kingdom, accompanied by hardworking gnomes who assist her in rebuilding what has been lost. The narrative remains simple throughout the campaign, but its fairy-tal…

It's not as good as Royal Envoy 1, for sure, compared to it it's even boring. But it's way less annoyign that the Hercules serioues with their Devil ex machinas.

This is your standard time/resource management game themed around a pretty kingdom missing its king. I had some difficulty getting the gold star achievement because some levels were complicated. Very fun! I've purchased the other games in the series in various sales, looking forward to playing them also. ETA: I forgot to mention a few downsides. The lack of ability to cancel an action was extremely annoying! Also annoying was trying to beat a set time to achieve the gold stars. I had to repeat several levels many times over.
