✦ AI summary

Players praise the game's exceptional pixel art style, charming humor, and solid metroidvania design that appeals to fans of the genre, with several noting good sound design and fun boss fights. However, common complaints center on the game feeling rushed and incomplete—it's very short (beatable in 4 hours), lacks promised Kickstarter features like Arena Mode, has inconsistent controls and UI clarity, and difficulty balancing issues that make early sections punishing but later bosses trivially easy to tank through.

I really can't recommend this game in it's current state, especially at full price (the price I paid). What's worse is that the dev had a Kickstarter for the game and one of the stretch goals was "Arena Mode" where you "Survive numerous waves of enemies for rich rewards." This feature is completely missing in the game. Ultimately, the entire game just feels rushed, especially at the end. Key points: * The game itself is really short. I beat it in under 4 hours and I was in no rush. * You can facetank every single boss in the game. * The pistol is mandatory for a single section and is relatively useless for the entirety of the game. * Control glyphs are grossly inconsistent. Sometimes you get keyboard and mouse input directions (press space, left click, etc.), sometimes Xbox (ABXY), sometimes PlayStation (L1, R1), and sometimes universal (top, bottom, left, right; You can see this at the water closet warp points). * The game is a fully 2D Metroidvania, but never uses the d-pad for anything, not even menu selections. * ZERO remote play support. I utilize Steam Link very often because my home is hardwired and I can use my gaming PC from anywhere in the home, be it on a TV …

Solid but could use a little more polish. Also short for the price. Took 2 hours to finish the game.

I really loved this game. Awesome Hollow Knight-Lite type of Metroidvania. The pixel art is incredible, the adult themes/humor was great. I wish the game had more exposure because I think a lot of people would really enjoy it.

This game gets a cautious recommend from me because I had a good time with this game, albeit a very short one. The pixel art in each area looks immaculate and was the highlight of the game for me. I loved the art style for the scenery, the characters, bosses, enemies, and everything in between. The sound design was also very well done and brought the whole package together nicely. The controls were decent, but had some minor jank from time to time. The dialogue was often funny and it made the characters seem down to earth. I play a lot of tough games and I would rank this one as being difficult at first, but it gets a lot easier as you progress. Most of the boss fights were a lot of fun and well designed, but the last in particular needed more polishing imo. Basically, the game was very enjoyable but I finished everything (except for grinding the last items to buy in the shops) in about 3.5 hours and for 15 bucks, it is kinda a hard sell. There are no achievements either, which gives no incentive to stick around after beating the game. I believe it would take 4 hours total to get 100% of everything, but I honestly don't care enough to do that. If you like to support in…

Played on OG 512 Steam Deck without any issues. Very good fun time this Metroidvania! The pogo timing is off but I got used to it. The game is initially pretty hard with short run backs adding to it but they’re manageable. I Liked this game!

It's probably a skill issue but I can't even get past the first area. The player attacks are weak, limited UI to explain the best attack type. Like the clam, shoots a stone that can be hit back towards it for damage, didn't even know that was a thing until I did a swing attack with the sword. IDK, maybe it gets better when the game moves on but I've not enjoyed it so far. Just feels more like a game jam attempt that was polished and not a full game. There must be more depth to it than I have discovered. Fyi, I was a kickstarter backer and this was definitely not worth the wait. I will say, love the pixel art and it's a cute platformer, just nothing special.
