Players appreciate this budget Metroidvania's short runtime and enemy variety with distinct attack patterns, but criticize its clunky controls, unresponsive button inputs, and frustrating level design featuring poorly-timed platforming sequences and confusing mechanics like the power-cycling system during combat. Many found the difficulty spike with early bosses combined with the game's technical roughness and poor English translation make it feel unpolished, though some acknowledge it's serviceable for its low price.
Really clunky mechanics and extremely bad level design with the trash mobs. You have no real incentive to kill anything and you can run through the game. Some sequences were extremely frustrating involving the blocks that automatically you spring you into the air combined with saws moving around or other hazards. It was impossible to dodge them with the giant hit box and poor controls and sometimes you couldn't jump to the next block unless you were already moving and the timing on the automatic spring is correct. Meaning - it didn't act as an actual spring, it was just every so often the ground shoots you upward. Also, the level design was so uninspired. And ladders...ugh. There was no way to drop from a ladder but if you were low enough you can jump upward then fall. The boss fights were designed far better but with the combination of the clunky slow jump, delay after attacks, frequency of some boss attacks and combinations made some dodging attacks basically impossible but luckily you have basically an infinite heal. I ran through the entire game collecting virtually no upgrades and beat every boss on my first try except the last one which took 3-4. His second form was pretty l…5 found this helpful
I love metroidvania games and was looking forward to playing this one. To me, it desperately needs some adjustments. Getting energy from each hit to activite life replenishment, grenades and your gun is cool, but having to cycle through each one of them during a boss battle is a complete nightmare. When you replenish health, your character completely stops moving which leaves you open to damage which happens a lot. I got to the first robot boss called #07, and he completely obliterated me multiple times. His attacks are fast, his aoe is quite large, while you're kinda mucking around with the clunkiness of swapping powers and such. Looking at the achievement percentage only 50% have even got past him. I also don't understand the temporary power ups in this game that you can craft. I made the one for jumping, hoping that it would work well when I got to a certain room, but by the time I got there it didn't work anymore. So you don't know how long these power ups last at all which is really annoying. I hope the dev irons out these issues. Maybe I'll check it out again but for now I'm going to refund.2 found this helpful
This was a short and enjoyable Metroidvania. The combat relies on timing so that your blows can land and so that you can dodge enemy attacks. Each enemy has its own attack pattern, so there are different tactics to try to defeat them (for example, meat dogs will pause before lunging at you for a bite so you want to line up a hit so you knock 'em in the face as they get close, or snipers who try to pick you off will jump back while throwing mines if you get close, so you want to rush them and just start wailing on them with the crowbar). There are some later areas of the game where room obstacles, like tracking lasers that you can't destroy, will stack up with different enemy types, so it's a lot easier to simply run past them I like how the health and energy system balances itself. Early on, you get the ability to use a healing item that costs energy. You get energy from killing enemies. To heal, your character pauses briefly to regain health which can open you up to attacks. It goes hand in hand with the rest of the timing aspect of the game so you can't just cheese your way through a tough fight Many of the rooms have timing puzzles which are mostly enjoyable and are occasiona…1 found this helpful

This game has its quirks. Some of the buttons don't feel as smooth and responsive as it should, leading to moments of getting hit when you're attempting to dodge, or your health items not triggering fast enough to save you. The English version was also clearly done by someone whos first language is not English; not every dialogue box will be weird, but you'll notice it fast enough. Those are really the only nit-picks I have though and I have certainly paid more for far worse games. You can beat the main story in about an hour and a half and get all the achievements in around 4 hours (even without a guide). Perfectly serviceable game.
Clunky controls, weird level design, lack of details, and poor translation, Might as well get something else you'd actually enjoy with that 5 bucks.
