About Gooblins
Gooblins is a First-Person Shooter for the HTC Vive that pits the player against never-ending waves of Gooblins. These cute but deadly creatures are hell-bent on using plasma blasts, fireballs, and kamikaze attacks to destroy you. As you progress through waves, Gooblin firepower and defense capability increases. Survive long enough to unlock your machine gun to make quick work of unshielded Gooblins. While mowing them down is satisfying, high scores on the leaderboard can only be achieved by killing Gooblins in the color order indicated on your weapon display.
Various Gooblin types with distinct personalities, all tying to kill you in their own special way!
Play in 360 degrees for the full experience, or 180 degrees for when your Vive cable starts to look like spaghetti.
Use the energy shield in your other hand as defense against plasma and fireballs!
Grenades launch with gun grip button, detonate with shield grip. Perfect your timing for mass destruction!
Free updates as more game features become available!

✦ AI summary
Players praise Gooblins as an engaging, addictive arcade-style wave shooter with charming visuals and a standout color combo mechanic that keeps gameplay focused and rewarding. However, some feel the game has aged poorly and now feels stale compared to newer VR titles, with complaints about simple, slow-paced gameplay and unclear mechanics like weapon switching, though it remains well-suited for VR newcomers and children.
Addicting! Honestly, The VIVE or anything VR is just something I myself dont play for LONG periods of time like I would a regular game. Whats nice about it is that Gooblins is simple. It brings back that arcade style feeling of gameplay. Something that you can pick up and play when you are getting that itch to rack up points and shoot things. The "Color Combo" element in the game is what really makes it shine. It keeps the game from getting stale and keeps you engaged and focused. I also get this sense of really having to use my senses, which I dont get alot from VR games. I dunno, I just feel more engaged in this. I'm constantly having to focus on each individual creatures different attacks while trying to maintain my combo. Simple, wonderful and fun.6 found this helpful

5 out of 10 Space Pirate Trainer Lite, childrens edition. I suppose Gooblins was good for it's time but a year on things have moved in VR making this feel stale. The visuals are pretty, gameplay is a simple and slow paced wave shooter with shield. Okay for VR virgins and kids only.1 found this helpful

Can't recommened this 2 years after VR-launch.1 found this helpful
Kid friendly wave shooter. Graphics are cartoony but surprisingly good – impressive space environment, and the Gooblins themselves are very detailed when they get close enough to see closely. Gameplay is repetitive as you’d expect from a wave shooter, and I didn’t realize I unlocked a new weapon (or how to switch to it!) so pay attention to that. Some unique ideas like the combo bonus, which you get by shooting the Gooblins in the correct order. I received this in a bundle, and I’ve already gotten my money’s worth of entertainment. It would be especially good for kids who aren’t quite ready for a scarier or more intense wave shooter. Thumbs: UP!
