GravBoost

GravBoost is a small space game built around an idea I do not see used very often in this way. Instead of flying around normally and simply pointing at targets, I have to use gravity to control my movement. I am flying around planets, using their gravity wells to change my speed and direction while trying to intercept targets in orbit. The basic idea sounds simple, but once I start trying to make a good approach, I realise how much the angle of my movement matters. It feels more like trying to understand a little physics puzzle than playing a normal space shooter. The gravitational slingshot is easily the best part for me. I can skim around a planet to gain speed or change my path, but getting the approach wrong can send me crashing into the surface or drifting away into space. I like that the game makes me think about movement before I act. Every little adjustment matters, and I have to learn how the ship responds rather than expecting it to stop or turn instantly. When I manage to line everything up properly and reach a target without wasting movement, it feels genuinely satisfying. Fuel and time also give the basic flying mechanics some pressure.
