Hotloop is a fast-paced twin-stick space shooter focused on Gravity and Orbiting. You have to curb the force of gravity and learn how to use it to your advantage in order to repel numerous enemies.

At first I thought this game had horrible controls and confusing mechanics, but after about 20 minutes of gameplay, you really get a feel for it. It's one of the only shoot 'em up style games that I have played to really focus on gravity. You orbit around planets, use gravity to make your enemies smash into the object, and it can also very easily kill you. Although it is very light in content, I do see myself revisiting this one after I have completed it to get better scores on the leaderboards. Great little hidden gem for under $1 on sale! Definitely recommend for anyone who likes twin stick shooters or shoot 'em ups.1 found this helpful
Pretty neat take on the Twin-Stick shooter genre. Managing the gravity and inertia while fighting enemies is interesting.1 found this helpful
Controls... nope.
I have waited for a long time for a game which incorporates orbital mechanics into a shoot 'em up. It took a few hours and goodness knows how many orbits to come to grips with the balancing act that is survival past level 20 on the first map and I anticipate many happy hours in the near future. Incredible value on Sale, TYVM to the Developer. P.S. And Oh yeah, "Cup of Tea"... might be able to get that in Rock n' Roll, make no mistake! :D
The controller support is so poorly implemented, it will randomly decide to ignore input and make the game unplayable.
Very simple game and very addictive gameplay. Greatly optimized for SteamDeck. I recommend to try
