Back in 2011/2012 I was at home browsing local files in my pc I had very limited to no intenret at the time I found this game run file clicked on it and played what a blast from the past

Very short but very cool experience with a lovely artstyle, simple gameplay and facinating mystery story. Runs on the Quake 2 Engine (Id Tech 2) and it's barely noticable, that's how well done it is and it's free!

Gravity Bone is a short experience of a being a spy with two tasks one on a private party overlooking mountains and another taking photos of 5 birds in a random building complex, where we get ambushed by a women and meet a grisly end, which ends the game. For a game for 2008, its amazing with the subtle story telling of the main protagonist and the antagonist of the women when during the chase she stops to take a cigarette or trying to find the exit when falling in the dining room. The game has a unique narrative that both blends gameplay and narrative which is minimal which adds to the effect that you have within the story, as your just some guy working with a agency that doesn't care about you but taking missions and doing what you are told. Which it's highlighted with the ending by being shot and falling back towards the tracks and reliving your memories contrasting with yellow, while the current scene being at night. It's a very good game and story. The only issue is that the game can crash when switching screen resolution but would still recommend.

Super cool, very short game. Feels like an exercise in game development minimalism, yet it is such a tight and smart experience that it makes great use of every second of its runtime.

ok so uh... that was easily some of the most fun ive had in a game in months.
