Grey Bones

Classic platformer in an unusual visual style in which we have to solve puzzles along the way destroying enemies. Our main task is to pass various levels bypassing all the obstacles and fight against dangerous creatures with special abilities.

Grey Bones is yet another asset flip/construction kit flip from serial shovelware copy+paste "artists", Dnovel/FreeAnimals_Software. These guys do nothing but copy asset store assets and game tutorials, fill out a few things/stamp out basic levels using the construction kit templates, and dump them on Steam and into DailyIndieGame bundles as cash grabs. Today's "effort" from these guys is Grey Bones, and it's a garbage 2D action platformer slapped together with the godawful Cocos Creator game construction kit. As a game, it's terrible, of course. It's a very lazy minimalist line art retro pixel platformer, and it's disappointing even for the usual asset flips from Dnovel (usually they copy templates/assets with slightly better graphics). For that reason, this is below acceptable standards, and has no real merit or value as a genuine, sincerely made PC game. Using game construction kits doesn't need any talent or professional game development effort, and results in shallow, low quality shovelware like Grey Bones. The status of this thing as nothing but an asset/template flip/cash grab is cemented by the "developers" prior history of asset flip/construction kit copy+paste job…

Note: Someone gifted this game to me. I won't say I didn't have fun with it, but Grey Bones is very lacking and needs work. The control has wonky physics that I can't describe. The music isn't normalized, so each song is at a different volume, and some are VERY loud. Many levels feel copy pasted. You can't use a controller for any menu options. But most importantly, I beat all 21 levels and got all 40 achievements in less than 45 minutes. It's definitely not worth the current price for what they give you. TLDR: Janky game and too short. Don't buy.
