I think that the user interface of this one is far worse than the "Fairytale" versions by 8Floor. On this one, there is a lag in hovering over a square and selecting it. Sometimes, that lag will result in a mistake, which will cause you to not get a full 3 stars for the level. Only buy this one on a massive sale and only if you really like nonograms.

"Griddlers Legend Of The Pirates" is a basic Nonogram game... for those who never played one, it's a kind of grid-deduction-puzzle game, not unlike Minesweeper or Sudoku. You're given a grid and a number of numerical clues. You must deduce where the safe places to click are. In a Nonogram, the correct clicks will reveal a small, obviously low resolution image or pattern. Yay, what fun. This is why top of the line gaming PCs costs thousands of dollars, right? The developer, Creobit, has copy + pasted this game an insane FOURTY ONE TIMES... why cash in on one asset if you can cash in on multiple copies of the same game? Asset flipping begins at home! Use logic to fill in the gaps, pretty straightforward and often challenging. Satisfying when you find the piece that makes everything else just tumble into place.

It would frequently crash when finishing a puzzle and not register that you completed it. The worst one took more than five attempts. More frustrating than fun.

As with other 8Floor griddler games I've played, the controls are too sensitive and the solved puzzles are hard to make out. At least this one adds a little picture for each puzzle AFTER you've solved it, tho the pictures often don't resemble the completed puzzle.
