Most of the puzzles have endings that have to be guessed at. It is highly unsatisfactory as it leads to wasting unnecessary time on redoing them if the guess is wrong. Very poor indeed.

"Fill and Cross Pirate Riddles" is a basic Nonogram game... for those who never played one, it's a kind of grid-deduction-puzzle game, not unlike Minecraft or Sudoku. You're given a grid and a number of numerical clues. You must deduce where the safe places to click are. In a Nonogram, the correct clicks will reveal a small, obviously low resolution image or pattern. Yay, what fun. This is why top of the line gaming PCs costs thousands of dollars, right? The developer, Creobit, has copy + pasted this game an insane FOURTY ONE TIMES... why cash in on one asset if you can cash in on multiple copies of the same game? Asset flipping begins at home! Here's a list of the asset flips of this game that the Russian "developer" is polluting Steam with: [list] [*] Asian Riddles 1, 2, 3 + 4 [*] Christmas Griddlers [*] Christmas Griddlers Journey to Santa [*] Detective Riddles - Sherlock's Heritage 1 + 2 [*] Easter Riddles [*] Egypt Picross Pharaohs Riddles [*] Fill And Cross Christmas Riddles [*] Fill and Cross Magic Journey [*] Fill and Cross Pirate Riddles 1, 2 + 3 [*] Fill and Cross Royal Riddles [*] Fill and Cross Trick or Treat 1, 2 + 3 [*] Fill and Cross World Contest [*] Gridd…

Having to guess at some of the answers destroys the fun of the game.

I agree with the points made in the negative reviews. If we were purists, we'd demand that the puzzles could be solved in their entirety using just logic, but given the symmetry of some of the imagery, ending up with ambiguous cases that require hints or guessing is inevitable. It's easy to say "don't guess" when the example at the beginning is only a 5x5 board, not so much when you've work up to 15x10 or 20x15 boards. I've managed to finish several of these fill and cross games (I play a lot of minimalist logic games as therapy to try and maintain mental sharpness, given my advanced age), and I've sort of hacked a "save" system where I either do a screen grab or just take my phone and snap a picture of my progress, so that in the event I make too many errors and lose, I can start over and quickly pick up where I left off. Maybe that's cheating, whatever, it works for me. I think if they just made the hints a lot less costly -- say, 500 points instead of 2,000 -- there wouldn't be as much danger of running out of them before you've made sufficient enough progress to accumulate a healthy bank and complete the game. Maybe different skill levels for the games could be implemente…

Fun and relaxing game. The only downside is that in some levels it is necessary to guess or use a hint.

Incredibly frustrating in games were it is necessary to use clues to complete a level, worse in cases clues aren't enough
