This game was fun until the platformer mode exists, the control was so bugged. I could not move when I hit a block next to me. Sorry to say, but I do not recommend this game. Fix this issue later then I would change my mind1 found this helpful
i mean it's alright the art in this game is cute and i like the minigames but its a lot of waiting, gets repetitive and if listening to one music for a long period of time drives you crazy i would recommend listening to your own music while playing this
A colorful and entertaining idle game. Loved the variety of activities available and things to unlock.
As others have said, it takes way too long to get carrots, there should have been more content so we can unlock more things more easily with a real sense of progression. The platforming section on the moon is pretty bad and there doesn't seem to be a way to leave it once you enter it.
One of the worst games I've played on Steam. It feels like a very first project from the developer — full of bugs, poor progression design, and questionable decisions. The biggest issue is how quickly the game becomes pointless. Every area, mechanic, or upgrade you unlock eventually gets completely replaced by the next new location. Old methods stop being useful for making money or progressing, so you just abandon them. This makes the whole experience feel shallow and unrewarding and there is no ending in the game, even when there is a lazy story included. The game is also incredibly buggy. Slimes constantly spawn on top of each other, the platforming sections are some of the worst I've ever experienced — terrible hitboxes, jumping near walls glitches you into them, and you often can't move properly in mid-air. It turns what should be simple movement into constant frustration. On top of that, there's heavy feature bloat. The community/market items are basically worthless — they just spam your inventory with useless junk that serves no purpose in the game. Overall, there's almost no reason to keep playing Grow a Carrot, let alone buy it. It comes across as low-effort sho…
