its very pretty, sadly its marred by just plain unfair imba enemy encounter design the further you go. so yeh if you like reloading over and over again till you got the right dicerolls to win have fun.i strongly dislike stacked against you fights and i hate it even more when the enemy can teleport and run all over the map while also being able to out dps and heal on top of having more aoe and areal denial then you do. maybe its fun if you minmax and over prepare but thats just tedious and unfun since you cant even cast spells outside of combat or try to seperate and single out enemy groups. gosh most fights just start with you being forced to walk up to the face of an enemy so that can freely pelt your dumb pile with aoe while you bodyblock yourself from even advancing. i just dont enjoy enemies just having double the movement points of you and just spamming abilites willy nilly while yours are on cooldown for half the fight. ew.i really tried to have fun with this but it just becomes such an annoying tedius slog. but eh there is a demo to try and see for yourself if you like it and its still in EA. but i wont be playing this anymore and maybe check back once its fully releas…

Loved this game. Great music, art and character options. The side quests and humour were a nice surprise! The fights are tough, as some reviews have pointed out, but the challenge is actually what kept me addicted to continue playing. Repeated play helped me learn the fighting styles of all the characters, and it developed my awareness of the unique skills of each party member. Looking forward to the full version!

I've played the demo version, which I think cuts you off right before you get to the first main hub. What I can say with confidence is that there's definitely enough potential here, so much so that I immediately bought it after I was done with the demo. Admittedly, I thought I would be playing the game sooner but it's been delayed to Q2 next year which is fine, rather have a delayed but amazing game than a rushed and unsatisfactory one. The comparison with divinity original sin games is certainly more than fitting here, especially with the combat system. You have action points, movement points, and combo of different elemental types that complement each other(based on my very limited experience with the game). The biggest difference here is the game being tile-based. The demo itself took me around 4 hours ish to finish and damn was it fun. The combat is really addictive to me, and I like that most encounters required some level of thoughts going into them or you'll have your ass kicked. A very promising game, be it story, gameplay or art. The difficulty is reasonable and there are a fair bit of different potential viable builds. Coupled with different decisions one can make in the story, the game has plenty of replay potential. Going by the steady progress the devs made since EA start, this game will likely be my GOTY 2026.

Great Art and story plus combat so far loving the game

Honestly a game that wants to be Divinity Original Sin (1 and 2) very hard but falls short. Lack of good graphics can make understanding pathing very poorly. Inventory managment is frustrating, having little method to view all the crap that each individual is holding. Overall lots of unfun enemies that seem to get bonus moves, better range than you. Lack of ability to sneak, and actually start a battle to your advantage. you can never attack first. Can't use healing spells out of combat.
