✦ AI summary

Players praise Guilty Force's engaging story, flexible gameplay that allows multiple playstyles, and stunning artwork and visuals. However, the game is significantly marred by numerous bugs including soft locks during cutscenes, items becoming permanently unusable, and equipment upgrades reverting unexpectedly, making the experience frustratingly unpolished despite its solid core design.

while i thoroughly enjoyed this game it is very much a game that was released before it was finished while yes the story itself is finished (with the exception of bonus side story which is 2% actually done i will touch on that later in the review the story is well thought out and actually decent playable characters each have their own roles and ways of progressing... although the game doesn't actually penalize you for not playing how each level is supposed to be played. the game is very very buggy. if you don't fully watch cutscences and fully watch dialogue at points the game soft locks in places. items glitch and become unusable my main gun of choice glitched like that and i couldnt use it after that point ever again. upgrades on your equipment will occasionally degrade back to its base form while retaining its upgrades this results in the previously mentiond game breaking equipment bug that makes ♥♥♥♥ unusable the side story after saving the optional characters a side story ( a single quest ) is unlocked this level is not only unnecessarily long. its actually just an unfinished area it cuts off and drops into the void with the "objective" still over 2k distance away. t…

Guilty Force has immediately pulled me in with an engaging storyline that keeps things interesting. What really stands out is how you can play the game your own way. Want to sneak around and take down enemies quietly? Go for it. Prefer to go full-on Rambo and cause mayhem? That works too. Want enemies to take advantage of you (if you know what I mean)? Easy. The game lets you switch it up depending on your mood. And let’s talk about the visuals—absolutely stunning. The artwork is top-tier, with detailed environments and character designs that make the world feel alive. Overall, Guilty Force delivers big time. Great story, killer gameplay options, awesome graphics.

Not a typical game genre for me but was interesting to hide from enemies and pass levels. Also dialogues between ship members are great. Would be nice to think about better default keyboard settings, existing ones seemed not very intuitive for me.
