What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise the game's aesthetics and fast-paced fighting gameplay, with some finding it entertaining in multiplayer settings. However, there's widespread criticism of the single-player arcade mode being brutally unfair with cheap difficulty spikes, unresponsive controls, and poorly explained mechanics, with many feeling the game is either broken or has severe balance issues that make it frustrating rather than fun.
Only played for less than an hour but it's fun enough. Basically plays like Street Fighter but with some interesting quirks, the characters feel larger and you feel a bit more crammed in. Attacks are a bit wider so the characters feel more immediately lethal, this is a fast-paced game. The character roster is small and sort of generic but there's just enough variety across how the character's feel to control or fight against. You do have to cap framerate as the game engine's speed is connected to framerate, Steam really needs to implement some kind of notification feature or built-in integration with GPU software so that a user cannot purchase a game with this specific issue without being notified before purchase, and even better yet there should be some kind of option before first startup to automatically apply a frame-cap. Regardless, it takes like a minute to do, not a huge deal. The options are seriously lacking, there are no options beyond 1080p, and there are no sound options at all, you have to adjust master volume in the volume mixer. For what it's worth I expected that this game would be rough, I got it in a bundle so it cost almost nothing, and I don't mind dealin…1 found this helpful
Fun game but the final boss is stupidly difficult.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Now I understand why so many kids got seizures during the 90s and 2000s My eyes are strained and almost threw up after fighting Justice for 20 minutes straight (no joke) Btw: Just spam the instakill 'till the game feels generous enough Tbh, as much as I love GG franchise, this port feels lazy as heck (have to set my monitor to 60Hz and bind my keys each time I launch the game)
Nah
So far a fun and amazing game got all the way through stage 10 on my first try just finding good moves and spamming a bit. And then stage 11. I had heard of the horrors but my god, the amount of SPITE I felt overflowing from this beast of 1s and 0s was far too immense to be simple code. I could feel its anger but also its cocky pettiness. I gave it my all but it was for not as I must sleep at some point. I will return and I will GIT GUD.
