Swing, swipe and strike your way through the mean streets of Hamsterdam with frantic action, rhythm combos, and become one with the Hamster-Fu.

The once peaceful town of Hamsterdam is in danger! The vile chinchilla Marlo and his Vermin Gang are wreaking havoc and terrorizing the town. It is a mobile game. I can't do the KO part. I finish the tutorial, but when I have to do it again, I hit buttons as needed, and nothing happens.1 found this helpful
Text Review: Pros: -Great, cartoony, cel shaded visuals (Rodents and stereotypic Dutchness, If it goes darker and less stimulating later on) -Great music (70s Procedural cop show funk, not many tracks though) with lovely brutal sound design that satisfies -Delightfully simple clicking and swiping action (Fun but singular and repetitive... essentially a ported mobile game) -Scooter and boss sections are nice changes of pace if the mechanics are less tight Maybes: -No story but it's based around visual gags -Not ambitious or groundbreaking, just some simple fun Cons: -Optional objectives are largely busy work and sometimes contradictory Video Review: https://youtu.be/iLKOmO9ea3w
i really felt bad refunding this one since the ame itself has so a lot of charm. but its just a glorified mobile game you waste a couple minutes on the bus with, its super repetetive with you just clicking and sometimes swiping on enemies with every level being pretty much the same. it even has the classic mobile phone game tropes with a world map, a little store (NO MICROTRANSACTIONS THO!!) etc. really a wasted potential putting this one on steam and not google play.
Not my cup of tea, it's a beat em up with rhytm elements, It's more belongs to the google store than steam. (Since it always holds your hands like a mobile app as well.)

I really wanted to love this game - especially since it comes from the devs of Guns of Icarus Online - but it just doesn't land. It has the depth of a f2p mobile game. Things are interesting for a few fights, but you quickly discover a few glaring issues: - The quick time events don't punish bad inputs. You can constantly circle your control stick and spam X and are basically invincible for non-boss fights. - 3 stars for every non-boss fight is basically free, but the bonus objectives often require something called a "big hit" which... I don't think is ever covered in game? At least I don't recall seeing any explanation, making many objectives unreachable. - No steam achievements gives little incentive to return. - It may be a "me" problem, but for the first boss and all levels after, trying to time perfect hits results in the game not recognizing my inputs at all. The only consistently interesting act of trying to land lots of perfect hits in rhythm was ruined by not being able to interact with that aspect after the first boss. Maybe just me? - Some load times and the "controller is recommended" screen seem very slow for a 6 year old tiny game on modern hardware. I will say th…
