This puzzle game was a huge surprise to me, I came across it in the puzzlevideogames subreddit and it just had so much higher production values than most other games in this genre, I got really curious and bought it. It is a puzzle adventure where you, Hamster Jones the intrepid explorer, solve different types of puzzles to find the treasure of the pyramid. I was a bit skeptical of the theme going in, but it was actually cutely done and I thought the character art was especially great. I would've liked to see even more character interactions and storyline. There are different types of puzzles, which really solved my issue of feeling tired of solving 874398 of the same kind of puzzle in this type of game. There are 1. sliding block puzzles, which are mandatory, 2. puzzles where you have to control a drone on a grid, these also tend to be mandatory as far as I could tell, 3. puzzles where you rotate a box and blocks fall due to gravity, these are optional and give you cosmetics, 4. decoding puzzles, also optional, and 5. riddle-like puzzles, I think mostly intended for the post-game. What a fun game! There's puzzles, and more puzzles, and more puzzles and then more puzzles! The game has a light humerous air about it that feels cozy and fun. The graphics are right on par to enhance that feeling. Movement is smooth and seeing the hamster waddling around is a joy for the eyes. The puzzles start out easy, but do ramp up towards the bottom of the pyramid. Some of the later ones are a bit tedious as the order in which you need to arrange things isn't immedeately obvious anymore. There's bonus puzzles for which you collect clues while exploring, some of which require eye for details and some are just evil. They are all doable though (there's one that might take a lot of effort if you haven't already done so). Luckily there's a Discord server with a lot of helpful people! If you love puzzle games, then this is certainly a recommendation!

TL;DR: If you are an achiever, do not buy this game or be ready for pain. If you want some fun puzzle game, give it a try. I have to admit I was actually hipped for this game when the demo came out... but then I started playing and the level difficulty spike went off the roof at some point. Like I had to restart countless time the same level that was supposed to be as hard as the previous one which was of the same difficulty level. And then comes the "end games" stuff: the 213% which to be honest was a very big pain because the clues were too shady and the resolution was (in my opinion) too complex to be a real actual solution. I had to bruteforce many times the different solutions and I had to find the ONLY walkthrough online to actually solve some of them. I think your puzzles in the end would require some rework or at least some explaining in their clues. And regarding the translation table, this one would require a lot more "easier" first steps to actually make sure we understand the pattern. An amazing puzzle game that starts off basic but has SO many hidden layers as you get deeper. This is probably my favorite genre of game, and the amount of times the game surprised me was so satisfying to work through.

A lot of the puzzles can be solved by moving the rooms like a rubrics cube, which is nothing new. It tries to be creative by mixing in statues that stop you from moving the rooms, some sokoban elements and light reflection puzzles, but most of them can solved in like 3 or 5 moves. Which makes this a pretty short game, that can be beaten in like 4 hours. The overall experience just ends up falling flat and uninspiring.

The game kept surprising me til the very end with its fakeouts, only to make wild and unexpected turns, introducing new and interesting mechanics along the way. It did a good job at keeping the game fresh. The difficulty ramps up smoothly and evenly. You will start out with easy puzzles, but don't let the early game fool you, there are extremely hard challenges waiting further down the road.
