Hand Cannon Virtuoso

So first the pros I really love how difficult this game is I love it and hate it at the same time. (in a good way of course) I would recommend this game to almost everyone. Also I know people are complaining about movement but I personally really like it. But hey if you don't like hard games and don't want to get better that's your choice. But now for a couple of cons. So first is that the levels difficulty varies which even on floor one which I like but you'll be running into the same environments almost every time. (also dev if you are reading this I already know you are working on that) But hey you have a real gem here and right now it is my second favorite vr game to play. P.S there is an infinite height glitch that you can do by spamming the dash button in the air. (also its me the guy from Reddit I told you I would buy it)

NOTE: I was an early beta tester of this game and some of my opinions are still coming from the earlier version of the game. I have not played the recent version as of 10/2/2020. Quick Overview: HCV is a game about a robot committing genocide against their own kind so they can graduate school with a high kill count. Every floor is randomized with different items, enemies, and layouts that can help or hurt the player in different forms. Weapons are given through "cards" that can have different attributes like corroding your enemies or causing them to be set on fire. These cards get cycled through as you use up the ammo for them, causing you to have to plan your card placements ahead of time. Locomotion: If you are not used to flying, moving at high velocities, being thrown around by explosives, etc. then I suggest you either take baby steps to get used to this game or play something intensive until you are no longer able to get VR sick. There is no walking in this game. You can fly wherever your controllers are pointing by pressing the grip buttons on your controller (This button changes based on controller setup) and dash in any direction by double pressing the same button. DISCLAIMER: I was a beta tester so Im a lil bias Overall this game is a refreshing game in the VR market! Right off the bat, my favorite part of the game is the creative locomotion system, it makes you feel like a murder hungry ballerina flying through the sky without a care in the world. However the system is not for those with weak VR legs! The game is incredibly fun and I fully believe the developer will continue updating this game until its completion. The developer of this game has an incredible amount of passion twords this project! Show some love and give it a shot!

This is one of those hidden VR gems that deserves more attention and praise. This game offers a high skill ceiling, with fast, and easy to understand mechanics. It fully takes advantage of the medium and format of VR, and it feels like a full game and not just a tech demo, despite still being in early access. The main game play is that of a shooter. However, instead of just running and gunning, you have rockets on your wrists, allowing you to jump, fly, glide, and even dash your way through the rooms. This fast, yet tight and responsive flying system, gives the game an immense speed to its main game play. However, this does mean it may not be the best first time VR experience as you move so quickly, but I have never personally experienced any dizziness or nausea from the game. But the game isn’t all twitch mechanics and reflexes. The game has a card and deck building twist. Each card in your deck is a different weapon, be it ranged or melee weapon, or some kind of special super power. Hand Cannon Virtuoso is a fantastic Rougelite that really makes you want to play one more run. The movement style is creative and fun using your hands as jetpacks. There is a nice variety of enemies and the bosses have unique mechanics. If you're looking for a FPS Rougelite, I highly suggest checking this one out!
