Fun and quirky boredom simulator burdened by a task mechanic so obnoxious I quit the game/job. The jokes inside the game are funny. The tasks are zany. The email, and doc sorting is just grind-y enough to push you to progress through the game. Then there is the stock ordering system. The stock ordering system broke this for me. I struggled to progress more with the fun "boredom mechanics" because I can't memorise a flash of directional arrows. Great idea, love the goofiness, HATE the "stock ordering" section. If you want it to be arrow keys and confusing - fine! Makes for a great simulation of stupid job. I'd like to keep playing but it's a deal breaker for me. Edit after 9 months: they fixed the stock ordering section so it's not counterintuitive. It was a fun sorta game that kinda got me thinking about it. Glad it's reasonable now! Actually a fun little game now!

I really like the game Hardly Workin' by Sleepy Sloth Studios because it is one of the funniest and most relatable games I have ever played. When I first heard about the game, I thought it would just be another simple indie simulation game, but when I actually played it, I realized that it has so much personality and humour packed into it. The game is about being an office worker who basically doesn’t do their job properly and slacks off the whole day. You complete small mini-games that involve avoiding work, tricking your boss, and messing around in the office without getting caught. I think the whole concept is hilarious because it’s the opposite of what you’re supposed to do in real life. Instead of working hard, the game rewards you for hardly working, and that’s what makes it stand out from other simulation games that are about efficiency and productivity. One of the biggest reasons I like Hardly Workin' is because it makes me laugh every single time I play it. The characters in the game are designed to look goofy, with the main character always looking tired or done with life, and the boss character looking strict and mean with a permanent frown on their face. The co-workers…
