About Healer

Healer is a boss rush combining healing and action roguelike mechanics. The SupportYou’re not hiding in the back line. You’re in the middle of the fight, keeping the party alive while still dealing damage when it matters. Every decision has weight! Heal too early and you waste resources. Push damage too hard and you put yourself at risk! Hesitate for a second and someone goes down. When the run is clean, nobody notices you. When things fall apart, you’re the difference between a clutch recovery and a wipe. You’re watching health bars, managing resources and reacting to mistakes in real time. It’s a constant balance of risk and control, power and pressure. And when it clicks, nothing else feels as satisfying.

The Party

You’re looking after a group that seems determined to die: a Tank who thinks they're invincible, a glass-cannon Assassin, and a Ranger who somehow pulls aggro from across the map. The damage isn't predictable; it comes in messy spikes. If you hesitate or misread the UI for even a second, someone is dead.

The Build

As you progress, you pick up boons that actually change how you play rather than just bumping your stats by .1%. You might turn your dash into a localized heal or pick up a spell that costs your own HP. There’s no meta setup here! Sometimes you'll stumble into a build that feels broken, and other times you’ll realize your choices are totally useless against the next boss. You just have to adapt.

The Failure

You’re going to lose a lot of runs. The bosses don't care if your spells are all on cooldown! Most of the time, you'll die because you stood in the wrong spot or panicked and burned a cooldown too early. But you get faster. You start anticipating the damage before it even happens. It’s not about grinding levels; it’s about your own reaction time getting better.

The Final Push

The further you go, the more the pressure builds. Mechanics start overlapping, and the room for error basically disappears. Eventually, it's just you against him. If you win, you finally save the world. If you mess up? Back to the start to try a different build.

If you usually play as a support character in MOBA games, you will probably enjoy this one. I understand that the game is designed as a fast-paced, non-stop boss rush, but it really needs a proper tutorial at the beginning—right now there’s no introduction at all. Regarding the skill set, I think it would be better if abilities were unlocked gradually. At the moment, everything is unlocked from the start, and I didn’t know how to use them until I hovered over each skill to read the description. Each room level should also provide rewards such as experience points, gold, or weapons to help upgrade the character’s power. Hopefully, I can try these improvements in the next updates. In summary, I like the game’s idea and see a lot of potential in the future.

Genuinely a well made game with a refreshing concept. It's something fun and different approach from a generic rpg game. Demo feels a bit off to play when it was it development but the final game came out pretty good. Smooth player and boss animation and movements and lots of hidden mechanics as well.

Everyone stands in the fire and expects you to heal them, very realistic.

I like the premise of this game as an avid fan of rogue like games. This is not a good game. Outside Bard, the controls don't work seem to work. Resurrection does nothing. Ultimate does nothing. The full game felt like a demo. Hopefully this will be better in the future to make it worth while to get.

Meh, after trying the demo and waiting for the full release, the game has more polish but still lacks sauce. Once you beat it for the first time, you kinda already saw everything the game has to offer. Similar to the demo, combat is too plain and uninspired. There are facsimiles of a stereotypical MMO raid boss encounter, such as red circles on the ground and flying projectiles, but you sort of engage with them in the same way. Would have loved to see more interesting boss mechanics for sure. Same idea with upgrades. Incremental stats by themselves are really boring, which makes the upgrades all feel like dump stats. It's also very linear, like there's no one passive point that really juices your character. It makes it so that you feel like there was no upgrade in the first place, as you are just playing catch up with the boss scaling. I usually never end up talking about pricing, because value is subjective. However, I feel like 13 aussie dollars is asking way too much for what I'm getting compared to other indie darlings, and it's such a hard price point to recommend to friends. At the end of the day, the game just needs more variety and content to be worth it. EDIT regardi…
